Amblegreen Quality Norwich Terriers

Since the early 90’s Amblegreen has focused on producing quality Terriers, with emphasis on Health and Temperament. In 2001, we welcomed our first Norwich Terrier and they have been our focus since that time. In 2020 we welcomed our first Westie – thanks to our friend and mentor Catherine Hamilton of Ladyleigh Westies…  We are dedicated to producing sound terriers both mentally and physically and are happy to provide references.

Our terriers are an integral part of our family, and are more than a hobby… they are a way of life!! Litters are planned carefully and reservations are suggested. All our puppies go to approved homes with CKC (Canadian Kennel Club) registration. We have one or two litters each year, and puppies are raised in our home with lots of love and socialization.

All of our terriers (one year and older) have been Cerf (eyes – annually) tested clear, and also have their patellas (knees) & cardiac (heart) OFA’d as well. We x-ray ( OFA) hips too on our Norwich over 2 years of age. Once these health checks have been completed our Norwich receive a CHIC #’s – a data base which keeps track of health issues. I am a member of the Norwich Terrier Club of America, and I am a signatory of their Breeders Code of Ethics. I am also a member of the NTC of Great Britain, and both the Norwich Terrier Club of Northern California & the North West Norfolk & Norwich Terrier Club, and the B.C. All Terrier Club.  I also belong to the West Highland White Terrier Club of Western Canada and the West Highland White Terrier Club of England.  I also belong to the Victoria Kennel Club of B.C.  and the Sun Country Terrier Club.

Amblegreen is located in lovely Cowichan Bay B.C. and in the Winter down South in Palm Desert California. We welcome visitors at any time so please drop us an email to arrange a visit. If you require any additional information or referrals please let us know.
