15 minutes away!!
Piper did us Proud as this was
her first time in the ring since she finished at 7.5 months.
She went Best Owner Handler in Group on the Friday, and took the
Breed and this nice Group 4 on the Saturday. Thank you to
Judge Mary White!
Fall 2016 show News :
At the Recent Fraser Valley
Dog Fancier Show October 7-10 :
Can Champion Amblegreen
Dralion Maui Mokka went Best of Breed at all four shows and also
picked up a nice Group 3 in tough competition!
Am. Grand Champion Myk-Lyn's
Amblegreen Johnny Reb picked up 6 points at his first Canadian Show
going Winner's Dog all 3 times he was shown!
Amblegreen Myk-Lyn's Sterling
went Winners dog twice as well picking up a few more points. Good
boy Stuey! He was shown by 'Aunty' Cyndy - great job.
Even more exciting was Stuey went Best Puppy at the BC All Terrier
We are finished showing now
for the year and look forward to some fun family and travel times!!
Vancouver Island Circuit -
Cyndy and I had a fun time on
the Island circuit...this was our first time and with me now living
ont the Island it was very convenient too! The first four days
was the Comox Valley Kennel Club ... and then the 4 days at the
Nanaimo Kennel Club.
Amblegreen Dark Matter (Piper)
did great earning a Group 3 and two Group 4's to finish her Canadian
Championship at 7 months!! We are so Proud of our little girl.
She also went Best Puppy in Group 3 times at the Nanaimo Kennel Club
Equally as fun we got to
show "Stuey" - Amblegreen Myk-Lyn's Sterling at his first shows in
the Baby Dog division. Stuey was Best Baby Puppy in Group all
8 times and even more exciting was he went
BEST BABY PUPPY IN SHOW - Five of
the times!!! He is such a showman and we look forward to lots
more fun as he matures... Cyndy is showing him below and did such a
great job - thank you!!
Mokka also picked up a
Group 4 at the Nanaimo Kennel Club - nice job!!
Love this photo of her on the
...April and May 2016
New Grand American
Champion - Myk-Lyn's Amblegreen
Johnny Reb had a great show in Sacramento in April. There were
a number of Norwich Specialities and a huge turnout of more than 50
Norwich. Johnny and Heather earned two Select dog placements
to finish his GrandChampship and also an Award of Merit. But
the highlight was Owner Handler Best in Show under respected Terrier
judge Ed Bivin! Johnny is owned by Lynne Davis and myself...
Stella did well in California
too...she went Reserve Winners two of the days and went Winners
Bitch for a five point major. After only a couple of shows -
all terrier specialties - Stella needs two points to earn her US
Not to be outdone at home
she has not been shown other then one day in April where she earned
her first Canadian point... She was just shown at the recent Tyee
show in May and picked up 5 more points including a Group 2 from the
classes! Way to go Stella... At the recent Vancouver
Island Dog Fancier Show Stella continued to shine! She took
the Breed and went on to a Group 3 to finish her Canadian
view from our place in Cowichan Bay - we are loving the Island!
The dogs have adjusted well and like their new
digs! There is almost 2 acres so great for
the dogs and Geoff and I are able to whale watch from our
windows and decks!
the early 90's Amblegreen has focused on producing quality Terriers, with emphasis on Health and Temperament.
we welcomed our first Norwich
Terrier and they have been our focus since that time. We
are dedicated to producing sound terriers both mentally and
physically and are happy to provide references. In 2013 our first
Havanese came home and they have fit in so nicely with the
terriers...watch for the occasional Havanese updates.
are an integral part of our family, and are more than a hobby... they
are a way of life!! Litters are planned carefully and reservations
are suggested. All our Norwich puppies go to approved homes
with CKC (Canadian Kennel Club) limited registration. We have one or two litters each year,
and puppies are raised in our home with lots of love and socialization.
All of our terriers (one year and older) have been Cerf
(eyes - annually) tested clear, and also have their patellas
(knees) & cardiac (heart) OFA'd as well. We x-ray ( OFA) hips too on our Norwich over 2 years of age. Once
these health checks have been completed our Norwich receive a CHIC
#'s - a data base which keeps track of health issues. I am a member of the
Norwich Terrier Club of America, and I am a
signatory of their Breeders Code of Ethics. I am also a member
of the NTC of Great Britian, and both the Norwich Terrier Club
of Northern California & the North West Norfolk & Norwich Terrier
Club, and the B.C. All Terrier Club.
