Welcome to our site and we hope you enjoy learning more about our Norwich Terriers and Havanese.

Happy 2018 !!!  It is hard to believe that another year has arrived ...
lots of fun things planned!

So Proud  that Stitch is now a Canadian and American Champion
Am/Can Champion Dralion Amblegreen Mavi Gold!!!

She is a little firecracker and is certainly enjoying the show game...

Here she is at the Palm Spring Shows at 11 months where she picked up 10 points towards her Grand Championship!

Thanks to Suzanne Querry for this lovely photo!!

Last year in Canada she won - 3 Best Puppy in Shows; 18 Best Puppy in Group; one Group 2; one Group 3; and 4 Best Baby Puppy in Shows and 8 Baby Puppy in Group!

This is her first outing below at 4 months!  I was able to handle her for all the Baby puppy shows but following that she was handled by my Best buddy Cyndy Monk and since mid August she has been out with Jennifer Knudsen who is doing a great job with her!!  Thank you ladies.  I was lucky and got to be home with puppies - yeah!!  But even more exciting our first Grandchild arrived - so thrilling !!!

In 2017 in the US - Stitch and I headed to the Montgomery circuit in Pennsylvania.  Stitch showed so well and picked up class wins all but one of the 4 days when she went 2nd.  Most exciting was winning Best in Sweeps at our National Specialty under Magda Chiarella.

It was a great show seeing Friends and especially travelling with my dear friend Linda Dowdle.   Piper was also shown there - she now is residing in Ontario with Linda.  She picked up a lovely Reserve Winners Bitch at Harboro 1!

And finally wonderful news for Lily - she went Winner's Bitch at Devon for a 5 point Major !!  She was handled beautifully by Marianne Holmes - thank you!

In California at the Wine Country Shows November 2017 - Sterling  ( below) finished his American Championship handled by Amy Rutherford.  So thrilled for his family and me.

And to finish off this year Stitch earned her American Champion at the Umpqua Kennel Club Shows in Roseburg Oregon - November 2017.  She took majors every day of the show  expertly handled by Jen Knudsen!  New Canadian Champion at 9 months and American Champion at 10 !!

Spring 2017 Show News:

Well the Sacramento shows have come and gone but the Amblegreen Crew did us Proud!  We love to head down to California for this show - we get to catch up with friends and see a large bunch of great terriers!!!

Sterling - Amblegreen Myk-Lyn's Sterling - was shown by me and we are pleased to report he picked up 10 points!  Two Majors - going Best of Winners for 4 points each and two Winners Dogs.  Also a thrill was showing this lovely young dog in the competitive Bred By Group where we picked up a Group 4!!!   What a great start for this young guy ...Congrats to his new owners Doug and Elizabeth too - it was great to have you both there to watch!

The girls did us equally Proud - there was a lovely  entry of 22 Norwich I should add which always makes showing more fun and challenging.  Also thrilling was they are both Kona's girls and that makes us very happy!!

Grand Canadian Champion Amblegreen Dralion Maui Mokka - was shown by my best friend and travel buddy Cyndy who also co-owns her - she went Winners Bitch twice for 2 four point majors, a Reserve Winners Bitch and Best of Winners too!

Can Ch. Amblegreen Dark Matter - Piper - earned Reserve Winners Bitch twice and also picked up a 4 point Major!!

The view from our place in Cowichan Bay -  we are loving the Island!
The dogs have adjusted well and like their new digs! There is almost 2 acres so great for the dogs and Geoff and I are able to whale watch from our windows and decks!

Since the early 90's Amblegreen has focused on producing quality Terriers, with emphasis on Health and Temperament. In 2001, we welcomed our first Norwich Terrier and they have been our focus since that time. We are dedicated to producing sound terriers both mentally and physically and are happy to provide references.

Our terriers are an integral part of our family, and are more than a hobby... they are a way of life!!  Litters are planned carefully and reservations are suggested.  All our Norwich  puppies go to approved homes with CKC (Canadian Kennel Club) limited registration.  We have one or two  litters each year, and puppies are raised in our home with lots of love and socialization.

All of our terriers (one year and older) have been Cerf (eyes - annually) tested clear, and also have their patellas (knees) & cardiac (heart) OFA'd as well.   We x-ray ( OFA)  hips too on our Norwich over 2 years of age. Once these health checks have been completed our Norwich receive a CHIC #'s - a data base which keeps track of health issues.   I am  a member of the Norwich Terrier Club of America,  and I am a signatory of their Breeders Code of Ethics.  I am also a member of the NTC of Great Britian,  and both the Norwich Terrier Club of Northern California  & the North West Norfolk & Norwich Terrier Club, and the B.C. All Terrier Club.

Amblegreen has recently relocated to lovely Cowichan Bay, B.C..   We welcome visitors at any time so please drop us an email to arrange a visit. If you require any additional information or referrals please let us know.
